Back In Fernie

 We arrived home in Fernie a week ago. 

It was a long trip from Olvera to Malaga to London Gatwick and then on to London Heathrow by bus. (our flights were changed from a Gatwick to Heathrow departure).  We stayed overnight in a hotel near the airport and caught an afternoon flight to Vancouver, then back to Cranbrook, where a friend met us with our car and we drove to Fernie.  The travel time, from the time we got up in the hotel at Heathrow until we arrived in Fernie was almost 24 hours.  It has taken a few days to recover from the time change and travel.

But, it is nice to be home! Despite the unusually cold weather.  The temperature has not been above -10 since we arrived in Fernie.
